Abstract

The essential conditions of human life depend on their social, cultural and geographical environment. The all-round potential of a person's health is based on the healthiness of his body parts, which interact with various environmental factors and lead to the evolution of the organism. The presented research is based on the problems related to maternal and child health in the resident tribe of Kukarpani village, located in Junnardev development block of Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh state. In which some aspects of food and nutrition of pregnant women and breastfeeding and supplementary feeding of infants by mothers and some aspects of health have been included. From which it has been concluded that the health condition of this tribe is very low. 91.66 percent pregnant women of this tribe consume Kodo, Kutki in special type of food, and only 55.00 percent women do health checkup during pregnancy. The reason for such health problems in migrant tribes is the consequence of inadequate food, lack of health awareness, illiteracy, low economic status, ignorance and poverty, for which the government should take appropriate steps.
