A study of behavioral change of students studying in private schools under the Right to Education Act’

Abstract
In the present times, education is the basis of progress and development in the society. In this era of competition, education is the most important tool in making the country dynamic. The Right to Free and Compulsory Education Act 2009 provides for an equitable legal framework that entitles all children in the age group of 6 to 14 years to free and compulsory admission, attendance and completion of elementary education. Due to which there is a possibility of significant change in the country. The lower class of the society is being benefited by this effort of the government. The purpose of this study is to study the behavioral change of students studying in private schools under the "Right to Education Act". The real achievement of this Act is to be known from the changes in the behavior of the students through free education. The present survey study was done on 30 teachers of different private schools and 30 parents of poor students studying in them. A self made questionnaire consisting of 10 questions has been used as the instrument. As a result, it was found that there is a significant similarity between the attitudes of teachers and parents regarding behavioral change of students studying in private schools under the Right to Education Act.
